Scheduled - Dear Customer,

As part of our commitment to quality and continual improvement, we will be carrying out planned upgrades to our servers on Sunday, 15 September 2019 from 13h00 - 17h00 (UTC+2).

The work will involve software upgrades to our databases and core servers for greater resiliency, security and features.

All maintenance will be completed by our most experienced SMSPortal engineers. We have two redundant data centres in two separate geographical locations. The maintenance will happen one data centre at a time in order to minimise the risk and impact of service disruption.

As with any upgrade or maintenance work, the risk profile of the platform is increased throughout. This maintenance has been classified as low risk with service disruption of up to 30 minutes per server during the maintenance window period. No messages or data will be lost, it will all be staged during the maintenance window for that particular server and resume once the maintenance is completed.

Update - Telkom Mobile SA continue to investigate the issue which is now affecting all outbound messages to the Telkom Mobile Network. Please do not resubmit any messages.

Investigating - Telkom Mobile SA is returning a custom error code resulting in an "UNDELIV" status for a portion of outbound messages. Telkom Mobile SA is currently investigating the issue, and once resolved, any messages with the incorrect status will be resubmitted at no cost to our clients.
